Why it started,

Gone away adventure club is a mind set that life is to short to not go see the world how you want to see it. My dad passed away at a young age and after his passing my siblings and uncle would always be talking about all the vacations we wanted to go on or the trips we never took together. One day sitting around the campfire we decide we are no longer going to just talk about these trips but that life is to short to not just do them. It started with going on the trans New Hampshire off road expedition! It started off as a bitter sweet vacation as this trip was one my father talked about doing before his sudden passing and was what ultimately lead us to making this pact. I’m starting this blog to hopefully inspire others to book that vacation, plan that road trip or visit the place that you have always wanted to go.
